Pros: Everything is blazing about this card. Yet contrary to other reviews, my temp at full load maxes around 83c, Idle about 48c. I have a very small case. I did upgrade the PSU to accomodate this card. I purchased a Corsair CMPSU-650TX 650W and it is more than adequate. To me this card is worth it, I got the 470 at first and returned it. Glad I did. This card is 1-1/2X faster.Cons: Very expensive

Pros- It has enough power to run every game I own on max settings at 1920x1080- Installation was a breeze- No driver issues (specifically why I did not buy an ATI card)- It doesn't do anything funky when the monitor goes to power save mode (the 2nd reason I didn't buy an ATI card)Cons- A very long video card (seriously, look at the measurements and then actually measure your computer case to make sure it fits. I have a large PC case and it almost touches one of the internal features, also it blocks 2 of my SATA ports on the motherboard)- It can get very loud under load. The fan dynamically changes it's speed to accommodate the load the card. When I'm not in a game or watching a movie, I can't hear the fan over the rest of the PC noise. But as soon as I start up a game, the volume raises by 50%-100% depending on what's happening on screen.

Just got my card this past week from [...] (GREAT SERVICE) and I can't believe how smooth everything has run since then.I work for a streaming media company, and have a tendency to bring work home (what else are you going to do in this economy) and when I do I end up pushing the limits with every aspect of hardware usage. Video being one of the major factors that was crashing my previous machine. I use a 27" screen and though it only requires a single DVI input it still needs a robust video card to post up properly without crashing the system. This is on multiple operating systems, I have tried quite a few, and will keep educating myself since our clients will continue to ask about any prominent platform that is wide use.This card has gotten me more time with my wife so not only am I a fan but now my wife is too.There is a lot to be said for spending enough money to have th right tools to get your work done to spend time on the things that are really important, so don't try to save a penny for tools for your career, it will just end up costing you time that you woudl have had with those that are important to you...... Can you tell I love having equipment that just works.I highly recommend this card if you are need a good amount of video processor power to get through your tasks.
