I bought this particular video card for an old but good PC because the previous card failed. This ATI Radeon 9550 256 MB AGP DVI works fine and has plenty of features and power for DVI/VGA monitors and non-game, ordinary office software. I believe the card will support two monitors, but not positive about that. I'm not a gamer, but I imagine that it works fine for the same generation of games as my old ABIT AI7 motherboard. However, I had to download and install the CCC Suite from the AMD website (in late 2012) to get the computer to incorporate the card properly, using Win XP SP3. Neither the downloaded drivers nor any support material on the included CD worked at all. I recommend the card itself, but it is necessary to D/L and save the AMD legacy CCC program while it is still available. Update 12/12/12 -- I've returned to this recommendation to reduce my overall rating from 5 stars to 3 stars because the CD and online drivers don't work as explained above. The card itself gets 5 stars, but the CD zero stars. If you have an old motherboard with an AGP video slot, the card is worth a gamble provided you can return it for FULL refund, including shipping, if required. That should be no problem with purchase on Amazon.

Purchased this video card to use in a AMD 3200 PC that I am going to use in a Arcade Cabinet i've made. Card works perfectly and was exactly what I needed for the Games I'll be running in the cabinet. Great price and great product. Easy install, and Windows XP picked up the card no problem, and the drivers that came on the CDRom installed and worked perfectly.

I dual boot XP and Windows 7. The card was recognized and drivers installed for XP and initially for Windows 7. But Win7 lost the settings and reverted to a low resolution (under 1280). I tried different solutions but nothing worked. The video card works just fine with XP, however.
