At first I was unsure whether I wanted to upgrade from a 560 to a 680, but after a lot of positive reviews I decided to just go for it. All I can say is WOW, this card just performs great and can handle pretty much any game I throw at it at max details, 1080p with at 60+fps. It also runs really cool with idle temps of around 30 degrees with the max I've ever seen so far being 65 degrees which is more then acceptable thanks to the twin frozr design. In terms of noise levels it is also pretty silent and barely noticeable during game play.so to sum this review up,was it worth upgrading from a last generation 500 series card?yep, great performance and power consumption. more then double the performance compared to my 560.is it the best value card you can get at the moment?probably not with the 660 ti and 670 offering most of the performance of the 680 while being significantly cheaper. but if your willing to pay a premium to get one of the best cards on the block then i recommend it.Also, If anyone is wondering, I'm running this card in a PCI 2.0 x16 slot and it runs just fine.

I upgraded from a P55 chipset + GTX275OC 1.75gig to this card with a Z77 chipset. Even though this is a pricey card (mainly because there has been a run on them recently) it is excellent all around.Pros:** It really isn't that loud... my GTX275 was like an RC heli. This GTX680 isn't louder than my case fans.** Runs every game I have without a problem. COD BlackOps 2... pffttt... GTX680 + Ivy Bridge eats it alive.** The card size is smaller than I thought. 1/2" shorter than my GTX275. Not real bulky.Cons:** Price... but the Frozr cooling is darn nice.There are cheaper GTX680 cards out there and they are probably as good. But I have used MSI stuff for a while and haven't has issues with their gear. The Frozr gimmick-marketing is legit... GPU temps stay down and the cooling is not loud at all.

Best single gpu on the market.Reference card with aftermarket cooling, so you can put a waterblock on this if you want. Mine went up to 1330mhz so it was pretty damn good for a reference card.
