ATI Original Part New
4-Pin header with approximately 2 3/4" (70mm) power line
Fan Dimension (Diameter x Heitht) approximately 2 7/8" (75mm) x 15/16" (24mm)
Mounting hole center to center distance are approximately: 1 5/8" (39mm), 1 5/8"(39mm) and 1 5/8" (39mm).
Please measure the distance and make sure the mounting hole will fit your card. Make sure your card can accept 4 pin connector. No return is accepted and no replacement is available for mounting hole postion mismatch or pin mismatch.

My 5870's fan ground to a halt after only about a year, and I was pretty sure it was a lost cause. I got zero love from the manufacturer, the aftermarket cooling systems for that model wouldn't work in my setup, and for some reason I'd convinced myself this item was a knockoff part that probably wouldn't even spin. My apologies to WE-FBA, I couldn't be happier with it. Sanders is right about the lack of instructions, but if you've gone through the trouble of opening up your graphics card, it's pretty straightforward. This fan fit perfectly, and the power cable was the right length. You'll want to replace the original thermal compound between the heat sink and the GPU (Arctic Silver 5 Polysynthetic Silver Thermal Compound Paste 3.5g or Tuniq TX-2 Extreme High Performance Thermal Grease and Easy Apply are probably your best bet), and you might need to replace the thermal pads if they're falling apart. I decided to leave mine in and dropped the card back in. This fan's run great under prolonged heavy loads for a little over 2 weeks, it's quieter than the factory installed fan, and oddly enough, the card's peaking about 12-14°C cooler than before. Best of all, this thing saved me from having to drop $400 on a replacement card.

Had my video card for over a year and a half and i put a LOT of stress on this baby (Radeon HD 5870). So much so that apparently i blew the fan! Turned on my computer one day and it sounded like a jet engine trying to take off and wouldn't even post! I panicked thinking the entire card was done for (i spent a lot of money on that!) then did more research and ordered this fan! Came faster than the expected shipping date (by 2-3 days!) and was a very easy install, perfect fit!

No Directions, Fan might not have been new?!? IT does work and the brain-racking rattle from the one I replaced has been silenced as it's in the dumpster, so I am happy regardless.
