Great Bang for Buck
By Jeff H.
Purchased the GTX 570 over the 580 due to substantially lower price and marginally lower benchmark tests. Replaced SLI setup of 8800 GTS cards - cut power requirements by 70% and heat substantially. Non-gaming temp is 40 - 45 deg C, under gaming load it rises to 60 or so, but not any higher. Bought eVGA brand for rebate, reliability, and overclocking stability (past experience).Great card, you won't be disappointed!

Read my review if you plan to buy
By Lang
This is a great product, no question! easy to install, easy to overclock, I highly recommend this card for any gamers. ( hopefully easy to SLI too, I never tried till now)Just several things for this SC HD: (please read the 1st and 2nd at least if you plan to buy on Amazon)1. Amazon label a price @ 359.99$ now or 357.99$ days ago(as June 30,2011), surprisingly higher than EVGA official site! That's why I directly went to EVGA website and got this one for 349.99. (same 40$ mail in rebate, EVGA charges no tax + free UPS shipping). For All the other models ( gtx 570, gtx 570 HD, gtx 570 SC) Amazon has a reasonable price, but only for this one(SC HD), EVGA has a better deal.2. If you buy on EVGA, it seems easier to get the free 3Dmark11 full version S/N. some reviews on newegg claim difficulty in getting the software. But I had no problem at all and got the full 3Dmark11 S/N just after a day of receiving my card.(you need your card's S/N to apply for 3Dmark11's S/N)3. Noisy fan. This is probably in every review you read, and it is true...... 60% is slightly louder than my cooler master HAF 932, 85% dominate my pc noise. Well if you have a good speakers like I do, you will not notice in gaming, but...if you try to write a paper on this pc, you will notice the fan noice.4. Heat problem. Even the fan is so noisy @ 85% load, the card can go up to 85C...easily when I run 3Dmark11 or Endless City from Nvidia. In real gaming, it is better, usually 50-60C. (well this depends, I guess my 1360*768 monitor is too easy for this card). I will try some CUDA computing and see if I can torture the card to 100C......to cook some water.Well, since I do not care about noisy fan nor 85C temperature, I recommend this card since the performance is great.

Great Video Card for the Money
By eDogLost
I had a hard time choosing a video card for my new PC and ended up using this one for a couple of reason. Fist, I read a number of great things about EVGA cards. I was unable to convince myself to spend the $450+ on the GTX 580, and the color scheme of the 570 series matched the components of my build.I was a little confused on the difference between the GTX 570 Superclock and the GTX 570 Superclock HD, so I decided to call EVGA and ask them. Ends up that although the HD has an additional port type, and a full size HDMI port (instead of the HDMI mini) it used less precious metal on its board and there for was $20 cheaper. This didn't make too much sense to me, but if that is what the sales rep was going to tell me, I believed him and went with the cheaper card with more display port options.I was a little concerned about the airflow in this model compared to the normal superclock, as it looked like it had a different fan and smaller exhaust. To be fair, I have done some modifications to my NZXT Gamma case so the air flow might not be optimal When running Battlefield 3 on Ultra settings on a 25" 1080p Monitor I took the card to full ram capacity and around 80 to 90 Celsius. Since then I have added a few new fans and attempted to improve the airflow. I'm still seeing high temps when playing playing battlefield 3 on ultra settings, but I'm playing battlefield 3 on ultra settings... and getting 60 frames... is there more I could ask for?For the price of this card, it's hard to go wrong. It's not the top top of the line, but it's a close second or third.
