Video cards are always the hardest thing to shop for in my experience. Just recently I got Far Cry 3 for Christmas, which is graphically demanding. For my budget gaming build, I wanted to keep my build around $450 total. After reading several tests with the Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 Ti on Passmark, Tom's Hardware and various other reputable sites, I decided it would be a higher end video card I could stomach to buy, keeping within my target price.With 16 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 RAM, an Intel Pentium G860 dual-core CPU, Intel 330 series SSD, and this GTX 650 Ti from PNY, I get an average of 34 fps on Ultra settings on Far Cry 3...on my 1080p 40" TV. As an IT Support Specialist I have always had good luck with PNY products, and this video card keeps the trend going. If you are looking for a video card around $150, this is what you should buy. Definitely a good purchase in my experience.P.S, make sure you get all of the current drivers. Many people forget to do this and wonder why it's not working the way they were expecting it to.

i expected more but given the 128 bit memory interface and the clock speed, i was dreamin that this card would substantially outperform my 9800GTX+ . The difference is little.Mainly purchased to enable the Mercury Playback Engine capabilities in Adobe Premiere and Ray Tracing in After Effects CS6, I tried this kid out on Rainbow Six Vegas. Its an older game but has always been one that needed a beast to run it. The 650Ti dogged on this game to the point of me turning it off. My old 9800GTX with a 256-bit interface and only 512MB of GDDR3 ram cleaned its clock. I haven't noticed any significant performance changes in other games either.This card and the 600 series is all hyped up myth.Get a 400 or 500 series with a 384bit 2Gb of ram and save yourself the disappointments. They will run hotter though on the other technology. This Keplar sucks.
