5Excellent Performance Boost
By K. New
I recently purchased an Core i5 2320 rig w/on-board graphics and 12 MB RAM. My power supply is only 350 Watts so upgrading to a dedicated graphics card meant installing a new PSU. I'm trying to stay on a reasonable budget and didn't want to deal with a new PSU so I was looking for a decent card with low power consumption to see if I could skirt by. My timing was great because within weeks of my PC purchase came these new HD 7750 cards that are rated at only 55 watts, which means no separate power cables needed (all power comes off the slot). In real world tests, this card uses much less power and are being rated as the most power efficient modern cards available. It runs very cool with reference cards getting buy with passive cooling. This HIS card has a nice fan, good enough for over clocking, but large enough that it occupies the space of two slots. I'm an occasional flight simmer and needed the added graphics muscle to play Il2 Cliffs of Dover, which is notorious for bringing top-of-the-line rigs to their knees, even with monster graphic cards. My monitor is older with a native resolution of 1280 x 1024, so this card, to my amazement, runs smoothly with all the settings on high. I only choke a little when flying over London at low altitude with buildings maxed out. I am stunned how well this card performs considering that it is a low to mid range card, albeit with all the newest features. For the price and how little power this powerhouse sips, its an awesome purchase - especially someone wanting to upgrade from on-board graphics and a modest PSU with minimal fuss. Installation took me three minutes! I was looking forward to adding a second HD 7750 in crossfire mode in about six to 12 months (when prices should drop as well), which tests are showing produces a doubling of performance across the board. But, my MB only has one PCI express slot, so I am stuck. But for anyone with two slots available and the space, crossfire on these cards works directly through the MB without additional cables, so you will have an easy and affordable upgrade path that will produce huge performance gains comparable to some of the more expensive stand-alone cards. That should give purchasers a little peace of mind heading into the future.

5Awesome Graphics card for the price!
By ambiotic syndrome
Personally I've done a lot of shopping/researching prior to purchasing this graphics card. This one however is a great graphics card compared to a lot I've seen sold on amazon and in local computer shops. Although it clearly states minimum 400watt power supply, it doesn't have the extra plug so it doesn't need extra power like the power hungry cards, uses pci-e motherboard power, which even at a slight overclock, only needs about 60 watts max of power consumption to use. I run most of my games now on high to ultra settings without any issues. And I use a 1600x1200 resolution, I can still maintain about 50fps(frames per second) on most of the FPS (First Person Shooters like modern warfare 3)and 60+ frames per second on World Of Warcraft on ultra settings using the 1600x1200 resolution with no issues at all. I highly recommend this to anyone that doesn't have a large power supply cause this Will work for anything from a 200watt PSU on up. It's a big card, and takes up the space of two slots due to the heat-sink and fan shroud. So take that into consideration when buying this card, make sure you have a pci-e (2.0 will work, the 3.0 is better connectivity to the Motherboard as stated by the manufacture) for it and the adequate open space so it can stay cool w/o obstructions in the way. Fan is reasonably quiet seeing how it's been OC'd a bit. Although if you plan on overclocking a whole lot, then I suggest you get yourself at least a 400watt PSU, to get the most out of your card without bottle-necking your computer.Pros:No second power source from PSU to useHas iTurbo (safe overclocking tool for card)Not as noisy as my old graphics card wasEasy installation of the card, no special tools needed but a screwdriver.Cons:Only problem I had was the driver cd. for some reason wouldn't start even when I manually executed it using administrator. Still wouldn't begin (win 7 flaw lol). So I Google'd the driver information,I had to go here.. [...]to find the catalyst drivers and catalyst for the card since the CD wouldn't start correctly. It's not a big issue, but some would consider this to be a major issue. Nothing Google couldn't find though. For the price, you cannot beat this card. It performs roughly the same as the nvidia 560 gt's and 460 gtx's w/o extra power source. I've bench marked and compared my settings to friend with same computer setup, and it's better on fps on some games and same (frames per second) on games like crysis 1 & 2, and deep space 1 & 2 on max settings. It's not a super high end card, and i wouldnt say it's going to enable you to win over those that have the higher ended graphical cards, but for the price you cannot go wrong.Another note: While installing your card, keep at least one hand on the metal part of the casing as that grounds you out from static electricity. I installed mine on a hardwood floor, but I still grabbed the metal frame of the case so I wouldn't damage the card while installing. Amazon has those static wrist straps you can purchase, if you really need it. Good to purchase if you're always trying out new cards, or graphic card swapping.Static Wrist straps (bracelets).. http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-Anti-Static-Wrist-Adjustable-Grounding/dp/B00004Z5D1/ref=sr_1_3?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1339320685&sr=1-3

5WOW!
By Natalie S.
I bought the video card, because I play The Sims 3, which demands a lot of graphics, my on board card was not enough, I was having so much lag and my sims lacked zing. I bought this hoping that I would get somewhat better graphics, boy was I blown away at how wonderful my sims and thier surroundings look, the colors seem brighter and crisper! It has given me a new passion for my game, which I had lost, due to so much lag time before. If you are a gamer who plays games with high demanding graphics, this card will not disappoint you. Also this is the first time for me ever putting in a graphics card. Normally I get my husband to do it, but decided to give it a shot, wow it was so simple! I just had to pull my other one out and this slipped right in and I was ready to go in minutes.
