1 year and 10 days after I bought this card the cooling fan failed.PNY support refused to help because the card was 10 days out of warranty. Seriously, don't buy PNY unless you consider this acceptable business policy.In view of my experience and after researching others' experiences online it is clear to me that PNY is a low-end vendor that provides a poorer quality product and bare-minimum service.

Unlike the other 1-star review, the product ended up dead well within the warranty period, but PNY refused the RMA since I did not have the original packaging. They did send me a copy of their warranty, and it does state that you need to have the original packaging, but since I do not think anyone expect that anyone would expect people to keep all the boxes of everything they buy for at least a year, it is pretty obvious it is just a scam to wiggle out of backing their warranty.This would be a nice card to get you an HDMI output, if you do not have one. It will also give your HTPC a little more gas than integrated graphics, and it comes with a low profile bracket, but with more respectable graphics companies making similar products, there is no reason to go with a company that does not back their products.

Since I upgraded my Ram to 2gb on my 5-year old pc, I decided my graphics card was outdated. I had a Radeon X600 series card, but the PNY GeForce 200 GT 220 - Graphics adapter - GF GT 220 - PCI Express 2.0 x16 - 1 GB DDR2 - DVI, HDMI ( HDCP ) is more than I expected, especially for the price. DVDs look great, and games (semi-older RPGs, such as Arcanum), display much much better, and vivid, and all while running smoothly and quietly. Not sure how the card would hold up on newer, more up-to-date games, but for what I need, this is more than enough. The control panel easily lets you access enhancements for single programs/games, and even when the settings are maxed out, this card's fan runs quiet. I'd recommend it to anyone besides the highest-end gamers.
