This was a pretty big upgrade for my PC. I had an Asus Nvidia GTX 260 and that worked well until the latest Adobe Master Collection. I do a lot of After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 64 bit and didn't want to dish out the $1.5K+ for a workstation card. I also do a little bit of gaming from time to time and know how to run benchmarks. All that said...This card has been a HUGE boost to my production. I can render at over twice the speed as my previous card. I usually stick with Asus, but at such a great price, I couldn't pass this up and am glad I didn't. NBA2K13 play fine with the old card with it getting jumpy every now and then, but still playable. Now the game is smooth as silk. Running at my monitors max (1920) and turning on all the goodies to top quality - the game runs at 50 fps. I didn't know how much I was missing until I upgraded.I have only had the card for 3 days, so as with all my reviews, I will come back if anything changes. But as of right now - I am very happy and impressed.By the way - My system is the Asus they sold at Best Buy (only) some 4 to 5 years back. The card is a PCIe 3.0 x 16 running in a PCIe 2.0 x 16 slot. No issues, but if you have a motherboard with a PCIe 3.0 slot - I'm sure it would be WAY better than my results from reading about the 2 different technologies. I had to research before I purchased to make sure the card would work in my older slot. It does, but the card is now faster than the motherboard.Other small things I noticed it how cool the card runs and it uses less electricity than my older card. It is also MUCH smaller than my older card.Hope this helps!

This is a nice card, but ignore the instructions. Install the card, than download the latest driver from NVIDIA. If I had done that to begin with, I would have saved myself 60 minutes of waiting for the driver to load. Once the new one was downloaded, the whole process took less than 5 minutes.Now that it is in, it runs really well, takes less power, and is quiet. Its also shorter than my last card, but more powerful.

This card does an excellent job handling modern games at 1080p, and can easily hold up against other competing cards. The Nvidia Physix, while not widely implemented, is a good addition to the card and worth the very small extra amount you pay for the addition of that power. The extra Gig of vram is well worth the extra $50 compared to the base GTX 650 ti, which I'm sure would have trouble playing Battlefield 3 and other Frostbite 2 powered games with only 1 GB of vram. An excellent buy for the $160 I paid for it.
