This card plows through large models and makes hardware-assisted real-time editing a breeze, even with several HD timelines and multiple effects in play. This Kepler adapter is 20 percent faster than the previous Quadro 5000 Fermi card, and it is 20 percent more power efficient. Simply excellent!I have experienced zero operational issues. This adapter works cleanly in my dual Xeon E5-2670 setup using the ASUS Z9PA-D8 server motherboard with 64GB of Samsung ECC registered server memory. great card it is the future of Pro graphics card, I have no issue with my Hp z620 workstation, and work great for 3ds MaxI post this in one of my fourmsI searched for a review for K5000 all around the internet trying to find a support with no use, I search and search with no answer I finally manage to get the K5000.you may found a comparison on Nvidia website (SORRY CAN'T POST BECAUSE OF AMAZON) If it is true it show that k5000 beat all other cards in the market even 6000 with a good margin, It is a new technology after all,As some say Tesla needed for better rendering performance ya this is right, but I think it is the same idea with quadro 6000 there you can find Tesla Product Literature and found some card build to support card like quadro 6000 rendering performance. it is the same game but with different players, it is the way that Nvidia card work. Moreover if you check the comparison again you can find that K5000 have 1536 CUDA™ Parallel Processor Cores vs only 448 for quadro 6000 and as you now cuda is responsible for rendering performance, on the other hand maybe the quador 6000 win k5000 in the Memory Bandwidth and interface section but that does not matter because of the new architecture of k5000.I am not a professional user on this matter or someone who have a lot experience on this field, but after digging in it I realize that AMD is not doing well on this war and their card are always not ready to face nvidia technology (15% AMD,nearly 80% Nvidia Market Share on professional cards), moreover choosing something from the past will make you alone in the dark maybe not this year but it will happened after time. so for me pick up Nvidia quadro k5000 is the right choice...Maybe some one with more experiance will show us more but I will not depend on that because I tried a lot to ask for help but no one answer ( I feel bad for that ).By the way check videos on engadget for adobe premier and newegg video on this card

Pros: Great performance. Bashes through rendering at fantastic speed.Cons: Does not work properly with Dual CPU boards - I own the ASUS Z9PE-D8 WS motherboard and the card WILL NOT work in PCIe slot 1. I can not get this thing to work in any slot other than slot 3 (which randomly detects at power on). When it does work (gets past BIOS POST), the card is rock stable, but obviously has issues with being detected by Dual CPU motherboards at a BIOS POST level.PNY claim they have no knowledge of this issue being reported, however I know different. This card has major issues being detected by any Dual CPU board. It will however work just fine in a single CPU config as tested in my other machines.Sadly, as this card is designed for a workstation environment (often meaning Dual CPU motherboards will be used), it appears sadly it has not been tested properly.Other Thoughts: PNY needs to do their homework and test this card out more rigorously in the environments it is intended to be used in. Their customer service was very dismissive and recommended I return the card and buy something else!This is a fantastic product when it works, sadly at the moment its not playing ball.Google ASUS Quadro to find threads on the status of this issue.nVidia have been contacted regarding this issue which is currently under investigation. Perhaps a firmware release will become available in the near future (be it for the motherboards or GPU).As at the date of this posting the current BIOS shipping is 80.04.59.00.18 (P2004-0500).
