This card works well with Windows 7, x64. I did have to load the drivers off the CD for it to be recognized, though. Works with regular drives, as well as does basic RAID(0,1,JBOD) with a simple interface. Standard JMicron 36x chipset

I put together an AMD Athlon II system with a MSI 880GM-E35 mobo that has 6 SATA 3gb/s ports. Main drive is 128gb SSD, Windows XP SP3, with a 500gb SATA HDD for storage and 2 DVD burners, using 4 of the ports. I have a stack of other drives that I wanted separate cables for, so I added the SYBA/Creative I/O card to the pci-e x1 slot. "New hardware found", so pointed to the driver I downloaded to the SSD which installed without a hitch. Connected the 2 burners to the 2 SATA ports on the card which worked flawlessly. A 500 gb IDE drive connected to the port on the card also works perfectly. JMicron adds its own BIOS screen that displays first when I boot. In Windows a "Safely Remove Hardware" icon shows up in the systray, indicating the 2 SATA ports. Overall, I wasn't expecting this level of integration and was pleasantly surprised. The package includes an IDE and SATA cable. All for less than $12. Way to go Eforcity!

I replaced my motherboard to get more RAM, but the new board did not have enough SATA ports. This component filled the need, was easy to install and works great.
