I bought 3 of these to run a 6 monitor setup in my MSI 790FXA motherboard (5 PCIx16 slots). You can run 2 monitors per card at 1920x1080, BUT one must be VGA per card ... so 3 VGA and then 3 HDMI "or" DVI. Cheap solution to a nice multiple monitor setup. Also runs CoDMW and CoDWaW no prob on average settings. Also cool at 40 Celius gaming and 29 Celcius office. Silent no fan :)

I purchased this because first of all because I had very good experience with a HIS Radeon HD 5450 Silence 1 GB (64bit) DDR3 HDMI DL-DVI (HDCP) VGA PCI Express 2.1 16x Video Card Retail (RoHS) H545H1G, although the PowerColor only has 512MB. But, that's OK. I bought this as a gift for someone with a 6/7 year old Dell that had an ATI Radeon X300 SE 128MB DVI VGA TV Out PCI-E Video Card - ATI 102A6280400 - Dell KH285 that crapped the bed. Actually, it was the fastest card I found that could be supported by the system's power supply. It was also the most powerful & reasonable card listed that did not have a fan. I have come to like the "silent" video cards. I also wanted something to be able to migrate to the home theatre / TV PC environment.The interface has an HDMI & DVI connector on the board and the card will produce 7.1 sound through the HDMI connection. It will permit a connection to a TV simultaneously with a DVI monitor.This was a big jump from the ATI Radeon X300 SE. I had jumped to the HD 5450 initially from having had a great experience with the Sapphire Radeon HD4550 512 MB DDR3 VGA/DVI/HDMI PCI-Express Video Card 100252HDMI on Windows XP. So, I expect the owner to find the same satisfaction in future months with this as I did with all the increased performance. This will also give the impetus for them to migrate to Windows 7 or 8, whenever it happens.Except for serious gaming, this is a great all-around card providing all the functionality most people would normally need. Still, the Windows Experience Index performance tool jumped 1.8 in the Graphics and 2.0 in the Gaming Graphics categories with the upgrade to this card. I think that's quite an improvement.It was supposed to work Plug and Play in Windows 7. The video card did fine in XP, installing "cookbook" style. A driver came with it. It loaded without a problem, of course after Windows loaded its generic VGA driver. Afterwards, I simply used the "Download the Latest ATI Driver" option, which is straight-forward. It also allowed me to download the full ATI Catalyst from the manufacturer.The card seems to be running very cool, even though there's no fan!This was a great Amazon Warehouse deal! I got it for 44% off the regular Amazon price.

Very good card for the price at the time for me. Decent upgrade for my HP with only a X300 128MB. No huge heatsink helps it fit easy. digital output is nice also.
