I installed this card into a Dell XPS 8300 with a upgraded Corsair 750TX power supply i7 2600 and 8gb RAM. I play mostly MMO's and FPS games. I get over 200fps in WoW with maxed settings and over 100fps in SWTOR maxed settings both on a 1080p monitor with 144hz refresh rate. This card kicks butt. BF3 I average 55-75 fps with max settings on the same monitor and Crysis 2 it is 66-77 fps at max settings with Direct X 11 patch enabled.

I bought this to replace two amd HD6970s. It's much faster, and i can crank BF3 to full settings with nary an issue.However, it has some pretty severe coil whine. I read up about the topic and a lot of videocards have this issue. The recommendation was to send it back if you wanted to, but chances were you'd just get another with whine back.Coil whine is caused by electrical resonance on the little donut shaped rings with copper wire around them on the video card. Because the card performs at high frequencies, the copper and iron interact to make a squealing noise that is noticeable unless you're wearing headphones. It's unfortunate that this card has it, because other than the whine, it's completely silent.The other issues are subjective but i've had tons of issues with my PC since installing it. I ended up doing a clean format onto an SSD and some of the problems have gone away, but the driver will still crash randomly during non 3d use (seriously?) and my computer seems to hang for a couple of seconds a couple of times an hour.Specs of system so you know what i'm talking about when i say good framerates:i7 2600K16gb ddr3 2333MhzFast SSD boot/game drivesThis video cardAnyhow i enjoy games a lot more now that i have this card, so i do give it 4 stars for that. If the drivers were more stable i'd give it a 5, but that taints the review.Thanks for reading!

This Card is very powerful yet keeping with AMD/ATI's amazing low power consumption!!XFX is an amazing manufacturer with a warranty that simply cannot be beat and amazing card quality and factory overclocking.I have a Samsung 27" 3D monitor and use this system for both 3D gaming and movies and this card really delivers amazing video!!I have had a crossfire setup with the last couple of gaming rigs I setup and many of the games I play did not support crossfire very well.Games that do support it have increased FPS and the technology is sound, but I found too many games that had poor support for a dual video card setup be it Crossfire or SLI.As a result I was left disabling crossfire for those games and running on a single card.That being said I was looking for a single card solution that could deliver very good FPS without compromising on video quality and resolution.This card does that perfectly!!I am going to give Crossfire another try and add a 2nd one of these cards later on this year to juice some extra performance out of my system, but for now this single card meet and exceeds all of my needs.Amazon Prime shipping is amazing!!! I ordered next day shipping in the late afternoon and got it the next day around noon.
