I bought this card when my 9800 crashed and burned.I didn't have a lot of liquid assets at the time so I did a little hunting and found some favorable reviews of this product. Here is a nuts and bolts review.Ordering/Shipping: I bought mine just a little before the price dropped down to the $49.99 it is now. Still happy with the price. Ordering was the usual Amazon experience - smooth as silk. I receive the card a day early in perfect condition.Packaging: The box included the card, a driver cd, and the usual printed items you will find accompanying suck items.Install: Honestly, could not have been easier. The being said, I do have experience with this sort of install, so my easy might not be the same as yours. The install consisted of:1) Opening the case.2) Removing my old dead card from the PCI-e socket.3) Inserting the new card into the PCI-e socket.4) Turning the computer on. (Note: I am using Windows 7 Ultimate which locatd generic drivers which were actually a decent resolution for completing the install.)5) Installing the drivers. If there is going to be a spot of difficulty for users who are not all that familiar with this type of upgrade, this might be it. The CD which accompanies the card works fine and allows you to use the card as intended. However, there are more current drivers for this chip-set on the NVidia website. I am a stickler for having all the new drivers for my system, so I skipped the CD and just downloaded the inital drivers from the website. Whatever level you are comfortable with - the drivers are not a problem.Performance: Pretty impressive for such an inexpensive card. My initial idea was to purchase this use it until I could afford a Nvidia 560, and just toss it into one of the kids rigs. After using for the last month or so, I am not really in a huge rush to go out and lay down that kind of cash. This card's performance more than suits my needs.I am not a heavy gamer, but the games I do play have been: DDO (Dungeons and Dragons Online), Guild Wars, Fallout 3, and Oblivion. I have not picked up Skyrim yet, so I am unable to make a comment about that or any other 2011/2012 titles. For the games I do play, the 3D rendering is beautiful, the DirectX 11 effects on the are stunning, and the game play is smooth as silk on "high" settings. I haven't stress tested it on "very high" yet. I am more than happy with th eye candy produced on "high".In addition to gaming, I use it to watch DVDs, surf the web, stream Netflix and Hulu, and do an good amount of reading. It passes with flying colors in all the above. No jitter, no burning eyes from reading text on the screen, etc.BONUS FEATURE: One of the hilights of this card is the low power consumption. How low you ask? Even though I have a Corsair 650w behemoth in my machine, it isn't needed. This card requires no extra power connections.This is great if you have a name brand (HP, Sony, Dell, etc.) case that has room for a card because manufacturers install a power supply that covers THEIR component needs. This is a great feature that they probably should have pushed. Many people have to purchase a new power supply and those can run you more than this card does. For example, my Corsair power supply was $89!BONUS FEATURE #2: Almost forgot this one! The first time I powered up my rig with this installed, I had to check to make sure it was running. Why? I use an SSD as my primary drive and a 500gb laptop HD for speed an lower power consumption and my system is pretty quiet, but I missed the whir of the DVD drives, and thought I toasted something! It was about two seconds after I booted and just didn't hear anything!Overall: If you got this far you already know - great little entry level card well worth the money. Mine was shipped promptly, received a day early, installed in under 20 minutes, gives good performance, is hauntingly quiet, and doesn't require you to spend more money on a new power supply.If you aren't playing the new CPU melting, RAM gorging, harddrive hogging, graphic monsters released in the last 12 months, then this card is ideal.My system for reference:Intel CoreDuo - 2.66ghzPrimary HD: OCZ 160gb Solid State DriveSecondary HD: Western Digital 500gb HDMemory: Corsair 6400 - 4gbO/S: Windows7 Ultimate EditionDVD#1: Sony LightScribe DVDR/RWDVD#2: Lite-On Dual-Layer DVDR/RW(Truly nothing fancy, but it is tweaked nearly to its max potential and runs everything very well.I can upgrade the card again and add memory with the current CPU/Mobo combo.)PS- A co-worker purchased this card on my recommendation for WoW and he said it is great. He aslo replaced a 9800 on his machine.

No issues and worked out of the box with Windows 7 Ultimate. Tested with high quality settings in Unreal Tournament 3, Crysis, Portal, Portal 2, Far Cry, Far Cry 2 and a few older titles (Half Life, Half Life 2, Unreal Tournament, Quake 3) and have seen very good frame rates in all. Great little card for the money.
