Great card - AMAZING customer Service
By Phishy714
Bought this card not too long ago. If you are looking for a card of this calibur, you already know all the wonderful things about it - you already know that its the best GPU out right now and can handle any game out there right now, butter smooth. You already know that it is whisper quiet and uses less power than the AMD alternative: This is not a review of the card that you can find a million reviews of online to see its glory.I am talking about Galaxy Tech. I have been buying computer parts for over 20 years and in all honesty, they have never been my first choice in GPU's. Nothing necesseraily bad about them, you hear bad stuff about every single manufacturer cause one can't realistically make everyone happy, but I have always sided with EVGA for their lifetime warranties. There is always something nice about knowing that you can have this card for 10 years and they will still take care of you then. It looks like EVGA has dropped their lifetime warranty and opted for a 3-year warranty, which has now become the standard in the industry - which is fine by me cause I have never held on to something like this for more than a couple of years anyways. The reason (and its almost a godsent reason) I got Galaxy was cause I was super excited about the card and, seeing as these are sold out everywhere, I jumped on the first one I got my hands on, and I am glad it was Galaxy.I registered the card within 2 days of receiving it from Amazon (their registration process is a bit weird, but more on that later). 2 days later, I received a phone call from a weird number, thinking it was another person trying to sell me something or telling me to press "1" if I want to eliminate my mortgage and credit card bills. To my surprise, a gentleman named Andrew says he is calling from Galaxy Tech and saw that I recently bought this GTX 680 from Amazon and wanted to see how everything was going. I was a bit dumbfounded to be honest with you - never did I expect a company like this, that has millions of customers and millions of people registering stuff daily, would call me out of nowhere to make sure that I am satisfied with my purchase. I still don't know what to say about that lol. I have been a customer at my bank for 15 years, at some points holding a 6-figure balance and never have I had someone call me just to ask how everythign was going and if I was happy with everything (which I am not but that's another story). Anyways, Andrew went as far as asking me if I visit any forums regularly, figured out that he was a rep at one of the ones I visit daily and gave me his contact info and forum name to please contact him if anything ever happened with the card, or if I had any questions regarding this purchase - assuring me that I would be taken care of with the utmost priority.Granted: I could have gotten lucky and my name was picked out of a hat of a million names of people who they were going to call, but that doesn't matter to me. What matters is that this one person got simply amazon customer service and is now a customer for life of Galaxy products because of a simple phone call. Now, as far as the registration process - its a bit of a pain, once you register with them, you have to send a printscreen of the invoice you receive when you buy the card for them to verify and then approve your card's registration. It seems a bit of a pain cause it does take a few days for them to go through all the printscreens they get and so you are left waiting for 3 days without knowing if you are even approved. Andrew did reassure me, however, that they received alot of feedback on this and are in the process of totally revamping the system, so that is definitely good news to hear. While I don't doubt (now) for one second that my card will be approved, I am not in a hurry to get it approved so its all good. All in all, this was a review of GALAXY TECH. because seriously, all of these cards are reference cards anyways, so they all come from the same place and every manufacturer will have bad eggs in them. Galazy, though, has shown me that they will take care of their customers and know the value of customer service. Of course, you could go and have a terrible experince with a Galaxy card, because no one is perfect, but what I can tell you is that the people at Galazy will do everything they can to make it up to ya.Also - if you see this card in stock, BUY THE DAMN THING!!!

A Pleasant Surprise
By Timmy
The GTX 680 is undoubtedly a very powerful GPU - arguably the single most powerful GPU at the time of writing this review.I'm going to comment more about my experience with Galaxy instead of the GTX 680 as there seems to be lots of information about the 680 but not as much about Galaxy.I was in desperate need of a new card, and I actually passed over an opportunity or two where the only brand that Amazon had in stock was Galaxy because in the past I'd also gone with the more well respected but slightly higher priced GPU manufacturers. Since I needed a new card badly, one of those times when amazon had only Galaxy in stock, I decided to take the plunge, and I am actually very glad that I did.The card works as advertised and Galaxy has been an outstanding company to work with up to date. It seems like they give you two years default warranty with the card and three years if you register the card at their website within a month of purchasing it. I registered my card and found the process to be very quick and easy. It took me five minutes at most, and one of the best parts is that after having been registered with them for over a month, I have yet to receive any adverting emails from them. In contrast, some of the more well-known GPU manufacturers have been sending me advertisements on a near weekly basis after registering with them. When buying a computer component there's always a chance that it will be defective no matter which company makes it. Galaxy seems to be a very underrated company at least in the United States. However, in my book they're very capable of making good quality GPUs, and I'd personally buy from them again even if Amazon were to have multiple manufacturers of the GPU in stock.

This is a superb product from Galaxy. Although it is my first experience buying a Galaxy product but I am very satisfied with my purchase. The quality is top notch and the product is the best out there. If you are building your dream machine, just get this GTX680.
