Great Value
By Hikerkev
Pros: Cheap, reliable chipset. I had the card over a week now and im very pleased with its performance. I feel its one of the best HTPC cards out there. My system is a mini itx with an i5 processor. My WEI in windows 7 was 5.5 and after installing the Asus card my WEI went to 6.7. But overall performance in watching movies and videos is far superior to most onboard graphics. It does not require a big power supply which most HTPC's don't have. I'm using a 300W PS and I have read where some are using 250W with no problems. It uses about 70 watts idle but maxed out (have not done yet) im thinking maybe 150 watts which will work in most htpc computers. It does have some overclock abilities but have not tried that yet. It has all the hookups and (dvi, hdmi and vga) includes the low profile brackets. It has dual monitor support plus DX11, PhysX and also does 3D media. It will do some games but the settings need to be lowered alot. With dual monitors running I can watch 2 movies at the same time in 1080p with no lag.Cons: The heatsink is HUGE so 1 star off for that. It will take close to 2 slots up so make sure you have the room for this card. It will get hot without proper ventilation. I had 1 slot in my case and this card butted right up to the case side and caused excessive heat. What I had to do was cut a hole in the case for the video card fan and then use a fan cover over it(looks factory done). So now instead of 56C for idle its down to 29C and under moderate usage it goes to 36C.For the money and included rebate (at my purchase time)its well worth it. The performance to price ratio is great and you will not go wrong using it in a htpc/media pc or just an upgrade to onboard video. Also go over to NVIDIA's website and download the latest drivers and don't use the ones on the cd. The other programs on the cd can be used but its always good to check Asus website from time to time to see if there are any newer versions.

So far, so good!
By J. D.
I built my system about a week ago and have had it on 24/7. I am not a gamer so I don't put a heavy load on my system but so far this video card has been extremely good. I have not had any issues with my system at all. The card was easy to install and receives a good rating on the Windows Experience Index. If you are looking for a good video card for an every day system with little gaming, this card is perfect!

Not sure yet
By Scott Borror
Cons -I bought this card to replace a card that was old. When I placed it in the system I noticed the app Smart Doctor that came with it was showing the card running at 52 Celsius which is very hot since I didn't have a load on it. I used the card for a day watching the temp and it was jumping around between 50 and 75 Celsius. All of a sudden the temp climbed to just a bit over 80 Celsius before the card shut down and the display went black. I had to shut off the system by holding the power button in.I took the side panel off and put it on my tech bench and started the machine back up. The Smart Doctor was still stating it was running hot at about 60 Celsius and it was jumping around. I placed my fingers on the heat sink to see if it was indeed hot and it was cool to the touch. It seems as if its giving incorrect data to Smart Doctor. After two days of messing with it, I turned the system on and it was running at 35 Celsius with no load and about 45 Celsius with 28% on the GPU. Its been stable for about 10 hours.Performance -I'm not really a video gaming junky but I do like to mess around with Eve-online and it plays 4 characters at once at 1080P on a Sharp 40" LCD TV using the HDMI jack. So I'm happy with the card if it stays stable.Other thoughts -I'm not sure what caused the instability but I will keep an eye on it and write another review later if I have anymore issues with it.
