5I got exactly what I expected, and I expected great things...
By Kevin W
I upgraded/switched over from an ATI HD 5770 because it simply wasn't cutting it anymore, graphically speaking. My friend also ordered a graphics card 2 days after. (MSI Computer Video Card - N560GTX TI TWIN FROZR II 2GD5 OC). Everybody knows that the MSI 560 Ti Twin Frozr II is one heck of a GPU, but guess what? This card SMOKES his by 15-20% minimum. He is so mad that he didn't listen to me and get this 448 core mack daddy... lolI was a big AMD fan for many years, but the whole driver support situation with them is just ridiculous. There were so many problems with so many different games that I just couldn't take it anymore. I researched this purchase religiously for over 2 weeks before I made my decision. I was going to get the exact same card as my friend, but 2 days before my purchase I read about the release of this product. After I learned the difference and did some cost/benefit analysis, this was the clear winner.PROS:1. This card only runs 5-8% slower than a 570. For it to be called a "560 Ti" is nothing short of a marketing campaign, because it literally has nothing in common with that card. These are the same chips that the 570's and 580's use. The 560's are a totally different chip design.2. This card has 448 CUDA Cores (shaders) vs the 560 Ti's 384. The 570 is nothing more than a 580 with one cluster lanced off, this card is a 570 with another one lanced off. It is a new card, but it is based on a winning and highly performance oriented design. Plus, for the 560 Ti to achieve the performance that it does, Nvidia has already overclocked the heck out of it. There is not a lot of room for overclocking it.3. For those of you who aren't into the overclocking scene or who simply wish to do no harm to your GPU, it comes factory overclocked by the most excellent people over at EVGA. They honestly have the best customer service I have ever dealt with. With a 3 year warranty, excellent customer service, and a step up plan for down the line, you can't beat EVGA.4. Price. This is the best value for a 560 Ti 448 that you are going to find. This is right at MSRP. And if you want to step up to a 570, they are up to 340 now!!! You get 5% less for 20% less than a 570!CONS:1. These cards are pretty much just cards that couldn't cut it as either a 570 or 580. For whatever reason they were rejects that were going to get tossed if Nvidia couldn't find a use. After they accumulated a quantity of the "rejects" they thought up this "limited edition" idea. The default voltage is one indicator this is exactly what happened. My default voltage was 1.013. I got on the EVGA forums, and voltages ranged from 1.000 to 1.075 default!!! If that isn't the definition of a binned product then what is!!!??? Don't get me wrong, these cards are put through rigorous quality testing before they make it to you. This is a good product inspired by bad ones... lol2. Although this card has 1280mb of VRAM, it still isn't the 2GB that other cards offer. Games are already hitting upwards of this limit, so be conscious of this if you like playing on ULTRA settings!3. This is supposedly a "limited edition" release. If you are planning on adding another card in the future, you better get it now or do without. Another 560 Ti that ISN'T a 448 WILL NOT WORK IN SLI WITH THIS CARD. That severely limits upgrade potential in the future!!4. As far as support/drivers are concerned, this is a brand new product. There are only 2 drivers that will work with it right now, 1 is a beta, and they both SUCK!!! The driver on the disc gives me way less performance than the beta does, but the beta has all kinds of little "beta-like" bugs.So far so good with this product. Honestly, the performance is more than I was expecting. I ordered my card within 5min of them available for purchase here on Amazon. There weren't near the reviews that there is now. I am pleasantly surprised at how well they are overclocking. On stock voltage/fan it is stable at 930 core/ 1860 shaders/ 2250 memory at 1.013v. The highest I have overclocked with raised voltage is 1050 core/ 2100 shaders/ 2550 memory at 1.063v. It has given me almost 20% bump in performance over the factory overclock. Not too bad!!! Basically I've only been limited by the head the added voltage adds!I'm happy as a pig in crap!!! Buy this card, or you will end up with an overpriced or inferior product. Best deal in town!

5Fancy 560 TI, Don't toss the CD
By DaveFace
I got my EVGA 560 TI 448 in earlier today and just got finished installing it. It replaced an EVGA GTX 280. I uninstalled the nVidia drivers, rebooted to safe mode and ran DriverCleaner. Rebooted to Windows 7 and d/l'ed the 266.66 and the 285.62 to test which were better. I began to install the 285.62 and it couldn't find a supported device, same with the 266.66. Sooo, I actually resorted to using the CD setup and it worked like a charm. I was getting a 24.8fps avg in Unigen Heaven with the 280 on DX10 with a score of 625. I ran the same settings with the 560 and hit 40.8fps avg with a score of 1029. I haven't touched the clocks yet so I can't comment on the O.C. I usually don't O.C. my video card anyway. My system is a e8500@4ghz running 4gigs of ddr2 ocz reaper @ 800mhz. Not sure if it's bottlenecking yet. EVGA was great with a replacement I had about 3 years ago so I felt confident in the selection. I'm still not certain if the price increase is worth it for the extra cores and memory, but we will see.

5Best card for the money.
By Sy
Best card in the ~300 price range imo. Plays all my current games on ultra without any stutter (Batman AC, Saints Row Third, BF3, MW3, L.A. Noire, Skyrim, etc.. etc...). There are better cards out there yes, and yes 2 gtx460's might be better than this single card (but not by much). If you want to go with just one card, my opinion is that this is the best bang for your buck in the ~$300 price range. Have not found any problems after using it for the past week dual booting both XP 32 and 7 64, working great on both.
