I've only had this card for a few days, but already it's been performing miles ahead of many other cards I've been trying to use for my hackintosh system. I needed something that could utilize Adobe's mercury playback engine (required a hack & cuda drivers), have decent 3d graphic capabilities (for my games), and be half height in case I decide to go back to my old half height case. It's true this doesn't come with the half height bracket, but they're pretty cheap to buy on amazon and can easily go onto the card.Most of all, with the power it comes with, it's quiet... a few lesser cards I've had were far more noisy than this card with less omph. So far a very good purchase.----Also, for those looking to build a hackintosh, the only thing I needed to do to make the card work was use the command line "GraphicsEnabler=no", which lets the OS use the default driver settings to make this card fly.

I bought the PNY GT640 model VCGGT640XPB when it was onsale (sweet)! This version is a Kepler GK107 based 384 core GPU (28nm fab, clocked at 900MHz, and TDP=65W). The card is a full-size card and would occupy two-slot space.However, by replacing the bracket with a 1-slot low profile bracket (borrowed from an old PCIe graphics card), the height is now the low-profile sized card. With this arrangement, you won't have the VGA output.If you further take out the cooling fan assembly, the card is even thinner, but its heat sink will still run into the next slot (greater than 1-slot thickness). If your SFF chassis happens to have enough space to fit this card and the power supply fan can also blow into GT640's heatsink, it would be ideal.BTW, OSX ML 10.8.x now natively supports this card. IMHO, it's a Price/Value leader.

Easy to install. Came right up. Enhaced my cpu's graphics presentation on the monitor using the DSI plug. Yatta yatta.
