The USB2DVIPRO Professional USB DVI External Dual or Multi Monitor Video Adapter is the perfect solution for turning your workstation into a dual or multi-monitor environment using your USB ports - providing high quality dual display or multi-monitor capability for a variety of laptop or desktop applications.
With improved performance compared to our USB2DVI, this USB DVI-D display adapter is capable of running up to five additional displays from one computer simultaneously (using four USB2DVIPRO External Multi Monitor Video Adapters). The adapter connects to a host computer through a USB 2.0 port, acting as an external DVI-D video card to either extend or mirror the desktop shown on the existing display - without having to open the computer case.
USB2DVIPRO offers support for Microsoft Windows® (including Aero themes) and Mac OS X, and with support for resolutions up to 1920x1200 this device is ideal for larger displays / monitors.

BEWARE OSX 10.8 USERS! THE DRIVERS FOR THIS ADAPTER WILL CAUSE SEVERE ISSUES ON YOUR COMPUTER.We purchased this adapter because we did not know this was yet another displaylink powered adapter. It specifically said it had 10.8 support... Unfortunately, the EXACT same issues happen with this adapter as the other displaylink adapter we have.FIX THIS PROBLEM!!! You are only damaging your companies name.Reference thread is on the displaylink forums if you want to know more.If I could give a negative star rating, I would.

BEWARE OSX 10.8 USERS! THE DRIVERS FOR THIS ADAPTER WILL CAUSE MAJOR ISSUES ON YOUR COMPUTER.I purchased this adapter because we did not know this was yet another displaylink.com DL195 Chipset powered adapter. Unfortunately, the EXACT same issues happen with this adapter as the other displaylink, and IOGEAR adapters as the drivers are all made by displaylink.com.displaylink.com indicates that their products and chipsets work with Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion, but the current version 1.8 does not, and we have been begging for a fix with no response.FIX THIS PROBLEM!!! You are only damaging your companies name.Reference thread is on the [...], go to "MAC", and you can't miss it.

the High Resolition usb dvi multi monitor video adapter works great without having to install a video card inside your computer. Its works as promised on their web site. the setup instructions were very clear and gives you the option to add extra moniters to computers. i had 2 hooked up and this made it 3 monitors running from one computer. i recommend this method and will order another one if i ever want to hook up anohter monitor to make it 4 on one computer....great way....almost no fuss..run software then plug in device then plug in monitor to device.
