I've had a GTX 460 for about a year now and am extremely satisfied with it. I can run Battlefield 3 on high settings with very little loss in frame rate. However, in regards to this, and other manufacturers' 460 cards, be very aware if you're buying one as a second or third card to use in regards to SLI.I bought this card in order to take advantage of the SLI option with my original GTX 460. When I went into the Nvidia control panel to enable SLI, the option was not available. I did some investigating and found when installed this card identified itself via the display driver as a 460v2. Nowhere on the card's physical box or description does it say this. The card has the same graphics processing unit (GTX 460) and the same amount of video memory (1 gig) on it as my original card, aside from the fact it was made by a different manufacturer. According to nVidia's FAQ on SLI this is all that is required to utilize the functionality. Unfortunately this does not appear to be the case. The GTX 460v2 clocks for the GPU and video memory are higher than the orignal (778MHz & 2004MHz vs 675MHz & 1800MHz), but the bus width is narrower (192-bits vs 256-bits). With these differences in specs the cards will not work together.Bottom line, if you're looking for a single video card I can definitely recommend it for its performance and value. If you're buying two or more, check the specs carefully, or better yet, get them all from the same manufacturer.

My grahics card recently died, so I went shopping. I wanted to upgrade, but some of the prices were breathtaking. I have a decent processor in my desktop, but putting in a device that cost more than my computer seemed kind of foolish. So, after much deliberation and reading reviews, I opted for the GTX 460 and it was an excellent choice. It's big, I had to remove my wireless internet card to make room for air circulation, but with the money I saved a bought a sound card to compliment the great performance of my games.I am not a huge gamer, I mostly play MLB 2012 but it looks absolutely fantastic.The card is very cool and virtually silent.

I bought this graphics card several months ago, and I must say, it is a really nice card.The fan is nice and quite, graphics look nice, and the framerate when playing games is also really good. Here are some games I tested on,1. Team Fortress 2- 60 FPS (Highest Settings)2. Portal 2- 50-60 FPS (Highest Settings)3. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3- 60 FPS (Highest Settings)4. Borderlands 2- 40-60 FPS (WITH PHYSX ON LOW)5. Super Monday Night Combat- 30-60 FPS (Medium Settings)For those who are afraid that the card might overheat, try not to overclock the card, and it should be fine.
