I recently purchased this video card in-store from a major electronics retailer for $74.99 as a modest upgrade from a GT 430. Physical insertion into the motherboard's PCI 2.0x16 slot was easy and Windows XP 64-bit located and installed the drivers on line right away. It is reasonably quiet and has performed well with no problems. This device enables me to play the free demo of Torchlight 2 at the following settings with superb animation smoothness and detail on an economy DIY gaming computer: - 1920x1080 resolution, full-screen - Anti-aliasing enabled - Hardware skinning enabled - Particle detail: High - Shadow detail: High - Vertical Synchronization disabled - DVI output Biostar A880G+ motherboard ($62), AMD Athlon II X3 440 3.0 GHz CPU ($73), 8GB 1333 MHz G.Skill RAM (~$75). If you're seeking good mid-range gaming performance, this video card is a steal at Amazon's price.

Galaxy GeForce GT 620 GC 2 GB has a nice small foot print and should fit well in most PC's. The card feels very well made and fits into the PCI Express slot very well. This is not the fastest card you can buy but if you have a small power supply it will work and outperform the video card on your system board.The recommend power supply on the Amazon page indicates a power supply of 300W or greater is needed, however the box says 350W or greater. That being said, I installed it in an HP PC with a 300W power supply and it works fine. The card took the Windows Experience rating for this PC from a 3 to a 5.The only problem I had installing the card was with the automatic card registration program that tries to run as soon as you boot into Windows. The program failed to find the card and would not let me out of a failing loop. Even after a reboot and installing new drivers from Nvidia, the automatic card registration program could not find the card and would not allow the program to close. I needed to do a regedit and remove all traces of the registration program. This took about half an hour to track down all the bits and pieces of the program. When this was completed and the system rebooted the card and system worked fine.At this time I would buy this card again and would recommend it to my friends.December 19,2012 followup:Card is working fine.

When I bought this graphics card, it was easy to put in. But low and behold on my end I wasn't able to upgrade or didn't know I needed to upgrade my Power Supply when I got this video card. So that was my fault all the way. But since then, this video card has been amazing. It gets the job done with my video games and does more, since it has 2 GB for graphics memory. I can now run 2 monitors. Amazing!
