5Most powerful single gpu consumer graphics card currently!
By yz125
I am running Battlefield 3 and Skyrim at 2560x1600 resolution smooth as silk.If your monitor resolution is 1920x1200 or below, the standard 2GB version is sufficient. If you use nVidia Surround or ultra high resolution, then this 4GB version will allow you to use higher quality textures and filters.

5Excellent card
By pjb515
I noticed this card has not been selling, but it's got 4 gigs of ram and goes for $469 after $30 rebate (Not here, at a website which is Directly related to a Tiger, hint hint). My old Radeon HD 5770 was the only bottleneck on my rig (See full specs below) So I convinced myself to replace it. I won't bore you with technical details or exact benchmarks; you can find those elsewhere if you want. I'm a hardcore gamer, and I only play at maximum detail settings. I think if you always have to turn down the candy, why not just get a console instead? As a career, I've been a desktop support/PC tech for 15 years so I'm technically skilled. This card did not disappoint, it's excellent. Of course, it's not fair to compare it to my old card, but I can say that when I fired up Battlefield 3, my jaw dropped because the image quality was so much better. Even with the old card, I had the graphics set to ultra (It was a little stuttery but playable), but with the new card, the game looked so much better I just stood in one spot, looking around and saying, "Wow". Even the sky looked better with just the stupid clouds up there haha. I didn't know I could get better quality with a new card, I though that the in-game "Ultra" means "Ultra", right? Anyway, after a few minutes of admiring the scenery, I started playing and it was all silky smooth no matter what was going on. I always play multiplayer online, by the way. I've put in about 15 hours of online Battlefield 3 with the new card at this point, it's been awesome, and totally trouble-free. Of course, I had to try Crysis 3, so I got that a few days ago and it looks fantastic and plays smoothly, with all graphics set to ultra. There's many modes of AA in the game options, and this article at Hardocp does a nice job of explaining: [...] I tried all modes of AA with no perceptible drop in quality or speed.Other notes: The card runs quiet; there's been no additional noise that I can detect, and I sit 2 feet away from the PC. Temperature peaks at 73C while playing FPS games. Memory usage peaked at 1.428 gigs RAM out of 4 gigs. There are two 6-pin power connectors on the card, and they're mounted on the top so when you plug your power connectors in, they won't butt up against your drive cages. I have a full tower case so this wouldn't have been a problem anyway, but I'm mentioning it because I know a lot of people have a mid-tower.Cons: None, but I'm an idiot because when I started peeling off the thin plastic film that protects the card during shipping, I peeled the whole main sticker off by mistake. Don't do what I did! Here's my other PC components:Note: I don't overclock anything, don't need to.Benq XL2420T 120 Hertz gaming monitor, native resolution 1920 x 1080, which is what I leave it at for games and applicationsIntel Core I7-3770k processor, stock fan/heatsink32 Gigs Crucial Ballistix Sport 1600 ram (Yes, I know I don't need this much but $140 at Microcenter, I couldn't resist)Asus P8Z77-V Pro motherboardPatrio Pyro SSD - Windows 7 installed on this driveOCZ Agility 3 - Games installed on this driveHitachi 1.5 TB old-fashioned magnetic drive - For file storageThermaltake Chaser MK-I full tower caseThermaltake 850 Watt modular power supply

5Amazing video card !
By XrayCow
Not too much techno BS just the facts. This card runs any and all games on ultra high settings, maxed out and not a single stutter , never drops framerates in any game under any circumstances, this card eats every game for lunch and asks for more. I came from dual GTX 460's in SLI to this card and it is night and day. I was apprehensive when trying ZOTAC, I have never used their products before but, that has all changed. I am now a ZOTAC fan for life. On top of all I have said about this card there is more, it is SILENT ! I mean you cannot hear this card's fan even when it is ripping through Borderlands 2 for 2 hours. Want more ? This card runs cooler than any other card I have ever used, I am simply amazed by this thing . It's my opinion that unless you have some freak occurance and get a bad card, you cannot beat this for the price. Absolutely amazing card that makes me smile everytime I crank up a game. I would recommend this card to anyone looking at this line of graphics cards, look no further and buy this, you'll be blown away !
