First, the items included in the box:Two MOLEX 4 pin to PCI-E connector converters. One for 6-pin and one for 8-pin.One HDMI to DVI converter.One miniDP to DVI converter.One DVI to VGA converter.One CrossFire cable.Also included is a driver CD and an essentially useless Quick Installation guide. Basically everything you need is in the box.When I first installed the card, I attempted to just use the latest version of Catalyst from AMD's "Desktop Video Card Drivers" section on their website. Oddly enough it didn't work, as the 7970 was not detected. I ended up using their auto detect and install program and that installed the drivers correctly.This card from VisionTek is entirely reference design with stock 7970 clock frequencies. It replaced my previous pair of Geforce 280 GTX, and so far it definitely runs cooler than those cards (about 75 degrees C underload while my 280s were much higher). The 7970 correctly lowers its clock frequency from 925 mhz to 350 mhz when it is idling, which is something that the nvidia cards refused to do when they are connected to multiple monitors (this is a known nvidia driver issue). In addition, for people who may be interested in using this card for HTPC purposes, you'll be glad to know that this card correctly sends out a 0-255 signal when connected to a HDTV. In comparison, nvidia cards will automatically default to 16-235 level when they are connected to HDTVs despite many complaints on this matter.As far as performance goes, if you are reading this review, you probably have an idea of it already. It's much faster than my previous 280 SLI setup and performs as expected. I've yet to run into any problems and I don't expect to.Be sure to also register your card to VisionTek within 30 days for lifetime warranty.Edit:I've now had about a week with this card; a couple more observations:-Unfortunately if the card is connected to multiple monitors when idling, while the core frequency downclocks, the memory frequency does not. This does mean that the idle temperature will be higher if connected to multiple monitors compared to just one (the same as nvidia cards). The difference is around 20 degrees C. Currently my card idles at ~66 degrees C with a mild overclock with no changes to fan control (according to my research, ~60 degrees C idle temp is normal for this card when connected to multiple monitors, of course depending on where you live). If you only have it connected to one monitor, you should get closer to 40 degrees.-This card overclocks exceptionally well. I haven't really pushed the limits of OC yet (only a ~15% increase in both core and memory frequency), and the card is rock solid with the temperature around 80 degrees under load. All this just using AMD driver settings with default auto fan controls. The increase in performance is near 1:1 ratio (15% OC is almost ~15% performance increase). I'm sure I can push for more, but I'm concerned with the increase in idle temperature, which does occur with OC.-Finally, currently there's a problem where if your computer enters sleep, the card might not "wake up". You'll get a black screen and there's no way to get out of it without resetting the computer. To circumvent this you need to turn off sleep/hibernate or powerplay. Apparently not everyone gets this issue, but I did have it happen to me.

I'm in no position to give a rating to this other than to say that it's not too noisy and I can run "Skyrim" at the "Ultra" settings.It's big, heavy, long, and requires a good power supply. But, of course, you know all that or you wouldn't be considering spending this much money on a video card!

I've had this card for several months now and at first I was very disappointed, but after much trial and error and many driver updates this card has turned out to be a great purchase. It drives my Eyefinity setup with ease in most games and that's all I can really ask for.
